I have been associated with Steve Williams and Nick Davies of Absolute Network Solutions Ltd. for nearly two decades. They have always been the preferred supplier for the Premier Foods site at Knighton with regards to information and communication systems networking and installation.
Within this time, they have proven to be far more than just an installation contractor and are now seen as an essential business partner. Their in-depth knowledge of the factory layout has alleviated the need for specific on site expertise, which would almost certainly not exist with the high turnover of site staff.
Their work has always been of the highest standard, conducted in a safe and hygienic manner, and where applicable works have been undertaken outside of normal operating hours to minimise site down time.
Within my current role (SAP implementation), I have visited every original Premier site earmarked under project Fusion for SAP roll out. I have not found any other site as reliant upon information systems as Knighton. With real time data capture within an aggressive manufacturing environment, the quality of the equipment and installation needs to be faultless to ensure end user acceptance. ANS have not only installed such a system but continue to enhance upon what has already been achieved.

During the past ten years I have enjoyed a good working relationship with Steve Williams and his team at ANS.
Whenever we have had site wide phone or network problems they have dealt with them in a speedy and professional manner.
Whilst I understand that to succeed in business it is necessary to deliver on both of those points ANS have also provided me with that little extra service - communication. When the problems were seemingly dire I was kept informed regularly of each change that occurred. This has certainly been a big plus for Knighton as a site.
We have also benefited as a site from the advice and assistance provided to us on smaller repairs and requests. It has been particularly useful to be able to e-mail telephone requests to Steve or Nick so that often the repair had been effected before our helpdesk advised me that the problem was being passed on.

Absolute Network Solutions have supplied and installed an up to date CCTV system to Phase1, Phase2, existing buildings and site. They have also installed a professional Data and Voice Network System To the Lynn Road Site.
The staff they have used on site at Lynn Road, along with their Directors, Steve Williams and Nick Davies, have all gone about their business in a very professional manner, they have worked with the operation at Lynn Road, and many other contractors whom we have had working on the projects to very tight timescales.

I have known Absolute Network Solutions professionally for over 10 years. During that time he has been the main networking contractor for Bury MBC and has worked for me on a wide range of projects. These have varied in scale from installing a couple of network points in a small library (e.g. Moorside Library) to networking our main library (Bury Library Art Gallery and Museum). I have always found Absolute Network Solutions and his team to be very professional and they have always completed their work to a high standard, on time and on budget.
During my time in this post Bury Metro Libraries has gone from having 4 public access internet pcs to over 130 Absolute Network Solutions have done most of the networking for this. We have had 4 major library renovations where the networking team have had to work around other trades, on most of these projects the networking team have had to work to tighter deadlines than initially agreed as other parts of the project overran.
As well as UTP cabling he has also provided other networking services such as a temporary laser-link to one of our relocated branches, and wireless networking inside some of our renovated ones. I have always found that he and his team are courteous towards staff at branches where they have to work and that they are prepared to work at hours that minimise disruption of our service.
I found Absolute Network Solutions to be reliable contractors, providing solutions often on very short notice and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
